This is the website for journalist and author Bart Schaneman. Bart previously worked as an assignment editor for the Seoul breaking news hub at The Washington Post. He has also covered the outdoor industry, the Colorado literary scene, and the cannabis beat. He was editor in chief of the Scottsbluff Star-Herald as well as national editor of the Korea JoongAng Daily. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, his work has also appeared in The Literary Review, Catapult and The Week, among others. He lives in Seoul.
